Here at TEDxTiESG brought to you by TiE Singapore, we see the value in everyone. TEDx is launching a global focus on sustainability & climate change with an event called Countdown in October 2020. The intent is to drive a local conversation on the need of the hour with Climate Change and Sustainability.
TiE SG is bringing that to Asia with a focus on Singapore as an APAC Hub.

The goal: To build a better future by cutting greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030 in the race to a zero-carbon world – a world that is safer, cleaner, and fairer for everyone.

What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDx[name], where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDx[name] event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

Countdown is a global initiative to champion and accelerates solutions to the Climate & Sustainability crisis, turning ideas into action.
About TiESG – The Singapore chapter of a Silicon Valley founded global non-profit organization called TiE (The Indus Entrepreneur) with a purpose of building the entrepreneur ecosystem in the local cities / communities it serves by connecting entrepreneurs to Mentorship, Customers, Capital and Expertise.
